How to write an ATS-friendly resume
Applicant tracking systems parse text, not design. A recruiter-readable PDF still has to survive the parse.
Use one column. Standard headings: Summary, Experience, Education, Skills. Skip tables, icons, and text in images.
Put the real job title, company, and dates on every role. ATS matchers look for those fields first.
Mirror keywords from the posting only when they are true for you. Invented tools and metrics get you interviews you cannot defend.
Keep length in a readable range. Too thin looks unfinished; a wall of text hides the match.
ForgeCV scores keyword match, structure, length, and format, then rewrites from your profile — never from fiction.
